Great Engineering/Manufacturing Business This award is open to a company that has shown exceptional growth in their business either through turnover or increase in jobs. The award is also looking to celebrate those who have demonstrated excellent working practices that have had a significant impact on the business. |

Investing in Young People Award This award is open to companies who can demonstrate significant investment either financially or in kind in young people. This can include innovative apprenticeship schemes, mentoring and working with local schools. |

Great Business Tourism Award This award is open to tourism businesses that are dedicated to serving the business community or have diversified to accommodate business visitors. |

| Great Community Contribution This award is open to an individual or organisation that has been working with the local community to promote enterprise. This can include those who have actively encouraged enterprise within the community or social enterprises that have had a significant impact on their local community. |

| Great Customer Service This award is open to companies or individuals that can demonstrate they provide an exceptionally high standard of customer service and care or have implemented new working practices to improve customer service. |

| Great New Business This award is open to young and expanding companies that have been providing a product or service for less than 3 years. Entrants should be able to show how they have transformed their idea into a viable business by demonstrating sustainability, growth, achievement against the odds. |

| Great New Innovative Product This award seeks those businesses and entrepreneurs that have demonstrated how outstanding innovative product they have designed has helped them or companies to achieve commercial success. |

| Great Employer of the Year This award is open to companies that can demonstrate they have increased employee satisfaction within the workplace. This can include investment in employees through training or initiatives to boost staff morale. |

| Business of the Year This category will be the ‘winner of winners’ chosen from the nine finalists. Judges will look for the individual who has pushed business boundaries and can best demonstrate vision and leadership of their owner-led business. |
