enterpriseGY encompasses a number of services which aim to enhance entrepreneurial activity across all sections of the community within the Borough. Our aims can broadly be defined as follows:
- To foster a climate of enterprise and entrepreneurial success by raising the profile of the town and supplying a provision of high quality business service products.
- To improve perceptions of the town and business potential so as to encourage business investment, development and growth.
- To create enterprise opportunities, wealth and employment across all sections of the community.
- To ensure that the Borough delivers a welcoming, confident climate for promoting and accelerating business development.
In addition, we have a number of high level strategic objectives which support our vision:
- To strengthen Great Yarmouth’s entrepreneurial culture and image as a good place to do business.
- To build leadership capacity within enterpriseGY in order to strategically direct and achieve key deliverables.
- To utilise enterpriseGY as a vehicle for generating and sharing knowledge, best practice, creativity and innovation.
- To intensify business start up activity.
